WebI’ve found that CTFFIND4.1.5 works better/more robustly than earlier versions of CTFFIND4. Whether CTFFIND4.1 works better or worse than GCTF seems to be dataset dependent. As of 7/17/19 I prefer GCTF in Relion but not “Relion’s implementation of GCTF” as it can not run on GPUs. So it is something to play around with.
