Second thing to check is to see if you have any ice buildup on the inside of the rim which would also have caused an imbalance. (Not knowing if you are in a winter climate where you are would figure into the second part of this answer.) Soon came to find a vibration between 65 and 75 mph, the steering wheel will shimmy back and forth slightly. Got a new set of tires, had them balanced and the truck alligned. The vibe is still there, and don't know what else to look for. WebDiagnosing a steering wheel shake is pretty straightforward. When driving at 60mph, drive through to 65-70 (if the speed limit permits) and see if the shake goes away or becomes weaker. If it does, you can be sure that you need to have your front wheel rebalanced.
